Memory Making Days

When setting up Emma's Aim I thought about what had the biggest impact on me during my treatment. I was lucky enough to be given a Special Day. It came at a very tough time, I had just found out that my transplant hadn't been successful. It provided me with something positive at a very negative time, and gave me something to look forward to. The day itself allowed me to forget everything I was going through. It is a day that I will never forget.

Having the opportunity to have a Special Day and knowing how uplifting the experience can be, has inspired me to try to provide something similar for others going through a very difficult time.

Memory Making Days gives the chance for families to spend some much needed quality time together, away from hospital and sickness. Cancer doesn't just affect the person diagnosed, it has a massive impact on the whole family.
