Emmas Aim

Emma's Aim is a Charitable Trust set up to support children and young adults in Northamptonshire going through cancer treatment. My aim is to provide activity bags to young patients, and also to be able to create special Memory Making Days for these patients and their families.

About...

My name is Emma McVeigh. In 2006, at the age of 16, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. I have had a bone marrow transplant, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and donor lymphocyte infusions. Unfortunately, despite all the treatment I am still fighting the disease.

Therefore, I know firsthand how difficult diagnosis and treatment is at a young age, and the impact it has on the whole family. This is why it is so important for me to help others as much as I possibly can.

If you have any questions, if you would like attend an event or volunteer at an event, or if you would like provide any sponsorship, please feel free to contact me using the contact form, or email me at theemmasaimtrust@gmail.com
